what is the cheapest way between london heathrow and gatwick/luton?

my flight leaves from heathrow but it may be cheaper for me to fly into another airport and then travel to heathrow as ryanair or easyjet do not go to heathrow

There are trains connecting both airports to Paddington Station in downtown London. You can pre-purchase the tickets or pick them up from a machine as you arrive. Gatwick express runs around Heathrow is alittle less.

Its a nice above ground ride so you can see the countryside and the city. The train is safe and there is plenty of room for baggage.

I had the great pleasure of being invited into the flightdeck of a Lufthansa flight that I was on in March 2001. For the landing into London Heathrow Airport. I had been into the flight deck earlier in the flight, not long before seatbelts had to be fastened for the landing a stewardess came down to me and told me the Captain wanted to see me as sooon as the fasten seatbelts for landing came on, when I re visited the flight deck and the Captain asked me if I would like to join them for the landing, of cause I said yes, so sat in the jump seat just behind the Captain and First officer I was in for one hell of a experiance, it was also amazing listening in with headphones to the ammount of other air traffic in the area awaiting to land or take off from hetahrow. You may spot a aircraft on the ground in this video with smoke coming from it, that was a fire training exercise by heathrow airports fire department

I have a day layover in London before continuing on to Tanzania and I want to see at least a few sites while I am there.

Not a lot between the two. The problem will be what to do with your luggage. If that is not a consideration or you can find somewhere to leave it…

I suggest that you take the Gatwick Express to Victoria; spend some time in Central London, then take the tube out to Heathrow (or go to Paddington and get the Heathrow Express). Gatwick to London takes about 30mins, London to Heathrow takes 15mins on the Express and about 45mins on the tube.

For just one day, remaining in central London, my top recommendations would be to visit one or two from the following: the British Museum, the Portrait Gallery or the Royal Academy of Arts, the Tower of London, a walk along the southbank between Tower Bridge and Westminster Bridge, St Paul’s Cathedral, the London Eye, the Victoria & Albert Museum, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and Madame Tussauds & the Planetarium.

Finding a pub shouldn’t prove difficult!

Two “planes” should have collided but they didn’t beco’s they are not “planes” And if they were “planes” why would 2 pilots perform such a risky manouver over one of the busiest airports in the world?They flew so close that the Chemtrails intertwined…. No way would this happen if they were real planes!

At LHR, London’s Heathrow Airport, owned by the British Airports Authority. Driving into the airport itself you can see a replica of Concorde. The video is mainly based around terminal 3 but we also get to see planes taking off from the top of the car park.
